Cozy and freshly remodeled, this 1920's garden-style Bungalow is just 7-doors from the first of several nearby beaches at Pleasure Point, Santa Cruz. Small view of ocean from front deck are perfect for watching the sailboats float by! Great location with over 10 restaurants with a 5-min stroll. Sleeps up to 6, but especially enjoyable for 1 or 2 couples, or families with kids. 2 full bathrooms
This home has an open layout (which means our guests cooking in the kitchen can easily chat with people in the living room,) and has a queen-size Murphy bed in the sleeping area, a queen innerspring futon in the living room area, and two twin-sized cots that can be set up in front of the fireplace. The only door is to the bathroom (which includes a heated towel rack and other goodies).
Luxury amenities include FREE local, National & 43 International countries phone calls, firewood, use of your laptop computer & local internet DSL cable connection, washer/ dryer and soap, hundreds of our videotapes to watch, games, paper supplies, local newspaper, linens, towels, and even fluffy bathrobes for après-hot tub. All are included in the price of the Bungalow.
One of the best surfer beaches around is a short walk away, or use our six+ bikes to ride down the coast to Capitola (only 12-minutes to the south). This charming twinkle-light seaside village boasts a generous sweep of beach, sand volleyball, oceanfront restaurants, and fun shopping. To the north is the world-famous Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk with the coast's oldest wooden roller coaster and free world-class entertainers on Friday nights during the summer. The area is also surrounded by several state and national parks like Big Basin State Park, Seacliff State Beach Park, Natural Bridges State Beach Park and more
Our quiet street is more of a path with surfers, bicyclists, and strolling people admiring the beautiful gardens, including the Bungalow's.
A word about pets...
Your pets are welcome here as we have a. complete 6' high gated fence and hedges surrounding the back yard with a nice outdoor shower. The nearest beaches are pet-friendly too!
We also help our neighbors find nice people to stay in their homes, so even if our calendar is booked, send me an email or call me and I'll check who has availability nearby.
Everyone says this quiet, friendly neighborhood earns its name "Pleasure Point." In fact, 35th Ave is so quiet that one of our guest's daughter's drew a hop-scotch diagram in the middle of the street and enjoyed playing on it! Looking forward to you visiting us soon!

Play Foozball on our regulation-size table, or throw a few shrimp on the large gas barbecue. Then dine alfresco on our four tables and six redwood chairs, or head for the sand with four beach chairs & umbrellas. We have off-street parking for two cars in the back alley-accessed driveway.
